Angel Lopez – Aka Tripp
Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Angel got interested in music since a 5 to 6 years old kid. Influenced by his rocker father, he began playing guitar at the age of 13 and join his old brother’s punk rock garage band Gring 42 playing bass guitar. Later in 2004, he started his own band with his classmates and brother Days of December. Band leader and playing the drums, he was moved to lead singer and started getting name in schools and local bars. Eight months later that non-conventional rock emo band separates after making a really good music project having by that time there own shows and fans. That music experience make Angel someone in the city’s music scene. When he was 17, he met Tony Brand which introduced Angel to electronic music, listening comercial music like Trance and MasNescafe. Getting to know these world of raves and traveling around the country just to be at the hottest dance parties he converts everything in a living rave and journey, which he calls it a trip, underground parties, music, and living style. At the age of 18, hanging out in Acidmunky’s music studio and listening to Gerardo Boscarino’s progressive house, he got interested in DJing and started watching him and other DJs at the parties and raves. Having some music knowledge and a really huge determination, he could started playing at house parties and being opening DJ for others in local clubs. Hanging out with DJ Nina, Larry Hurst and J Pierelli he got more experience and become Tripp Lopez, the new insane DJ in the Honduran Electronic Music scene. In November 2007 stated Mindfield Music, a promotional agency for electronic events. Putting his life to his job, a new and small Dj / Promoter, he has really good plans for the future of the electronic scene in Honduras and trying to expand himself all around the underground scene in different place he would like to play around the world.
